Vuzo is 3!
March 17th is usually reserved for St Patrick, the well-known patron saint of Nigeria, Guinness and funny leprechaun hats, but it’s also special to us as the birthday of our data science agency, Vuzo.
Like many tech companies carried on the wave of always-on, push notification culture, the urgency of today’s deadlines mean we don’t often stop for breath and take stock of our achievements so far.
Since opening our doors in 2017 we’ve been privileged to win data analysis projects for Gov.uk (Companies House) and we count ourselves lucky to work with some of the UK’s biggest ecommerce retailers including Currys, The Sale Room, Sophie Conran, Pets Corner and Longacres.
We’ve also analysed data for the UK’s biggest pub & club chain Deltic Group, and every month we generate insight & data that drives online and offline growth for our ever-expanding roster of 18 UK retail, FS and ecommerce companies.
Since starting out in a cramped and windowless Regus 3-desk sales office in Paddington to our present home opposite Schroders in Moorgate, we’ve also opened for business in Bristol and welcomed new members to our growing team.
We’ve developed and launched our SaaS product ShopStats for Magento and WooCommerce customers, and integrated our behavioural prediction technology Canary with Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics/Omniture.
In 2018 Vuzo’s IP was independently valued at £1.8m by independent auditors Inngot, and one of our founding members had his research published in Nature.
Vuzo is proud to be a key technology partner for Go To Market Global, assisting over 4,000 mid-market digital businesses to expand into new overseas markets using data-led strategy to minimise risk and shorten the time to profitability in new territories, and our applications of AI in the field of SEO caught the attention of London’s largest monthly SEO event https://londonseomeetup.com/ where our CEO was invited to speak.
Despite the extremely difficult circumstances facing all businesses at the time of writing, we have some ground-breaking projects in the pipeline including a free platform geared to representing UK SMEs. We believe our focus on driving high multiples of ROI for our customers gives us renewed purpose in the face of adversity.
